Petals a Plenty

I really, really love this embossing folder! I have several other cards on my desk, but these are the ones I have pics of right now. Cheers!

This is a picture that Ani made the other day after our conversation about what Remembrance Day is all about.

I think she *gets* it, don't you?

Lest We Forget

Here's what we did for Halloween this year. The first projects are for dd's class and then the play doh containers are for ds's. Ani helped stamp, colour and cut out the pieces for hers - what an awesome little stamper she is! Raif wasn't AS helpful with the things for his friends. He was more "I WANT NEW PLAY DOH - WAAAAAH!!!" but he helped stuff the bags with no trouble.

Slowly but surely catching up!

I decided to stop listing every single thing I use in every single project. If you would like a 'recipe' for something I post, just drop me a message or leave me a comment and I'll send it to you. I don't get too many requests for this info, and it keeps me from posting some times, not wanting to take the time.

Rounding out tonight's posts... one more from the all-blue Christmas cards class! This is a tri-fold card. You can find a tutorial for them on Splitcoast Stampers. I won't even attempt such a thing myself! I wish I had made some snow on this card though - or some stars in the sky maybe. Hmmm...

Christmas cards

Here a a couple of recent Christmas cards. I'm having trouble finding my mojo, but I'm working on it! I think I've finally got into the spirit - now I have to find the time to blog some! I made 8 cards tonight, but I'll have to wait till tomorrow to take pictures and post.

for Fright day I gave a bunch of teachers a finger

No, I did not say THE finger - where's your head at???

Neway, I made these easy peasies with the Stampin' Up! Big Shot Bigz Matchbox die, Basic Black cardstock, Only Orange gros grain ribbon, some Schweet Spooky Treats rub ons and a gummi witch's finger. Note the lovely bloody end for extra fun effect!

Sigh. I love Halloween.

You know what I really regret this year though - I wanted so badly to go booing that I could hardly contain myself. And then, I didn't find the time to go booing. Next year. I'm putting it on the 2010 calendar right now!
