Day 7 is mine ;)
Well, not really mine! I made this page using Meetje Designs' kit-Autumns Last Smile. I Rrrreally like this kit! It was just perfect for this sweet shot of Annika. It's her in the "house" that she made last summer on "Hosta Hill." She gathered up all kinds of branches from the yard and created this shelter 'just in case.' Since she is such a big fan of Fetch with Ruff Ruffman on PBS Kids, she used the three criteria the team was given on the show when they were challenged to build emergency shelters. It had to be waterproof, windproof and secure. If you're dealing with imaginary weather, this shelter is for YOU!
Day 6 brag book freebie
Erika made this brag book page using a sweet kit by Megan B Designs called Rainy Days. Download it from the blog.

Freebie alert!
Here's what I did with today's brag book freebie at BOP. Lois made this one from Serene by RW's kit "After the Summer." I'm such a fan of Renata's work!
I used Creative Memories Expressions of Love digital kit and Garden Party kit for the word art. I would love to get a tutorial on how to make a sparkle, or a star - like the ones that you see on old-timey commercials... does that make sense? Hmmm...

A BOP CT layout
A rare moment of peace! My sister took these pictures of ds sleeping and he looks so sweet! The colour she captured in these photos is so fine, they almost glow. sigh. Anyway, here's what I decided to do with them.
This page is made using a kit by Serene by RW (here's her blog) It's a rather masculine and yet sensitive kit called "Agate Marbles" and it's in the Bouquet of Pixels store now.
I love the colours in this kit!
I made the background by layering Renata's paper with her paper circles and 'stamped' dots elements, then the photos and finally her overlay. It gives it such a nice 'weathered' effect, don't you think?

Sale at Bouquet of Pixels!
Aaaack! I'm on a CT
So, I'm not sure EXACTLY why, but I was asked to join a Creative Team for a BRAND new digi scrappin' store, Bouquet of Pixels!!
I have been at it about a week, and I LOVE it! I still love my paper and ink, but digi is super fun for me - portable, clean, cheap, addictive...
The team at BOP is AWESOME and I'm so privileged to be involved.

I don't believe I've ever introduced you to my children. They are, in my belief, the most beautiful children on the planet. They make it difficult to be agnostic. In fact, faith is a concept I only conceived to begin to understand once I began to experience perfection for the first times, in witnessing their being.
*big sigh*
